Bet9ja calculates all qualifying settled bets placed from Wednesday at 00:01 to Tuesday at 23:59 and then checks whether the player recorded a total loss of at least ₦2,000. If that condition is met, the bookmaker credits the reward as a Free Bet on Wednesday, although the company notes that the bonus may take up to 48 hours to appear in the account.
Promotion period − the offer runs on a weekly basis. Each promo cycle starts on Wednesday at 00:01 and ends on Tuesday at 23:59. Bet9ja states that the cashback is credited on Wednesdays and may take up to 48 hours to reach the customer’s account.
How to claim the bonus
- To take part in the promotion, a customer needs to place real-money bets on basketball and/or tennis during the weekly promo window. Both pre-match and live bets qualify, and the bookmaker accepts singles as well as multiple bets.
- There is no stake limit, which means the key factor is not the size of any one wager, but the overall result across the full cycle.

Terms of participation
The promotion applies only to qualifying bets on basketball and tennis. Bet9ja accepts both pre-match and live markets, and the bets may be either single or multiple. However, each qualifying betslip must carry total odds of at least 2.5. If the total odds fall below that threshold, the bet does not enter the cashback calculation.
The list of exclusions is also important. Cashed-out bets and void bets do not count toward the promotion. Bets settled outside the promo window because of postponed, delayed, abandoned, or void events are excluded as well. In addition, Bet9ja does not include Zoom bets and does not accept bets placed on player-specific markets for this offer.
The excluded player markets include options such as goals, assists, shots on target, and cards.
Once the Free Bet is credited, a separate set of rules applies to its use. The customer has three days to use it. The Free Bet must be staked in full on one unique betslip and cannot be split across several bets or combined with real money or other sports bonuses. To use it, the betslip must contain at least three selections, each priced at minimum odds of 1.6, while the total odds must reach at least 4.096.
Bet9ja also limits the markets available for using the Free Bet. It can be placed on pre-match and/or in-play tennis, soccer, and basketball markets only. Any winnings from the Free Bet exclude the Free Bet stake itself, and the maximum amount that can be converted into real money is ten times the value of the Free Bet received.

Other terms
Bet9ja takes a strict approach to account control and market abuse in this promotion. Multiple accounts are not eligible, and the operator says that if a customer is found to hold more than one account, the client privileges may be revoked, with possible confiscation of winnings and cancellation of bets, bonuses, or gifts.
The company also states that any attempt to manipulate the offer may lead to disqualification and forfeiture of winnings.
The bookmaker places additional restrictions on bet placement within the same event. Customers cannot place several bets on the same event and market with different outcomes, and the same rule applies to incompatible markets. The operator adds that it may remove any allocated bonus where it identifies suspicious or fraudulent behaviour, especially if the betting pattern suggests an intention to qualify for the bonus and then convert bonus funds into withdrawable cash.
