The term “Multicorner” is a betting designation used by bookmakers in their betting lines. The “Multicorner” is a complex bet based on the total number of corner kicks in a match. This type of wager is featured by bookmakers in the additional lines for football (soccer) matches.

Features of the “Multicorner” bet
There are two main types of Multicorner bets:
- Overall Multicorner — considers the combined number of corners taken by both teams during the match;
- Individual Multicorner — counts only the number of corners taken by one specific team.
The distinctive feature of this market is its calculation method. The total Multicorner figure is determined by multiplying the number of corners in the first half by the number of corners taken in the second half. For example, if there were 4 corners in the first half and 5 in the second, the Multicorner result would be 4 × 5 = 20.
Possible outcomes
When placing a Multicorner bet, the bettor predicts whether the resulting figure (after multiplication) will be higher or lower than the bookmaker’s set line. The outcomes are as follows:
Win: The bet wins if the Multicorner total (the product of corners from both halves) is greater than the number specified by the bookmaker.
Loss: The bet loses if the Multicorner total is lower than the bookmaker’s set figure.
