The Team 1 and Total Under 2.5 bet works best in matches between mid-table teams or outsiders.
For example, in the 10th round of the RPL, “Ufa” faced “Rotor.” The odds for the Team 1 and Total Under 2.5 bet in this match were 3.44. By the 10th round of the RPL, both teams were at the bottom of the standings: “Ufa” in 15th place and “Rotor” in 16th.
Bookmakers favored “Ufa.” In 5 of their last 7 matches, no more than two goals had been scored against them, while Ufa’s players had not scored more than one goal in any of those games. Therefore, it can be assumed that once “Ufa” scores a goal against “Rotor,” they will start playing defensively, and the match will likely end with a score of 1–0, or at best, 2–0.
